Sarah Weicker

Sarah Weicker, MD, MSc, is an Addiction Medicine Fellow and Emergency Medicine Resident at the University of Alberta. She completed her MSc in chemistry at the University of Toronto prior to completing medical school at the University of British Columbia. Her academic interests include improving care for patients with substance use disorders in the emergency department (ED). As a resident researcher with the ICHWP, she will be involved in a project examining the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on ED care for patients who use opioids
