Kelsey Speed
Kelsey Speed, BSc, MSc, is a Research Coordinator with the Inner City Health and Wellness Program. Kelsey received her Master of Science degree from the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo, and her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph. While completing her degrees, she discovered her passion for working to improve the health of the Canadian population, specifically through applying systems theory to public health. She has conducted research on antimicrobial resistant bacteria in the Canadian food supply, the intersection between food safety and food security sectors, and is currently conducting research on harm reduction projects in the acute care setting. Kelsey is looking forward to continuing to work with marginalized populations on improving their health.
