Juan Carlos Ocampo

Juan Carlos Ocampo is a Research Assistant with the Inner City Health and Wellness Program and a BSc student majoring in Clinical psychology at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Originally from Ecuador, he has worked in anthropological research on Mexican prison violence at the CEIN (Mexico), neuroscientific research on bilingual chilren's learning difficulties at the University of Texas at Austin (USA), and healthcare research on psychiatric inpatients' sexual behavior at the Guayaquil Neuroscience Institute (Ecuador). Juan Carlos is looking forward to learn about the impact of harm reduction strategies and policies in Canada. As a fun fact, he got to watch some unrendered scenes of Shrek 4 way before it came out when visiting DreamWorks studios.
