Heather Morris

Heather Morris PhD RN holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Manitoba, a Master of Nursing from the University of Alberta and a PhD in Health Services and Policy Research from the School of Public Health, University of Alberta. Over the years, Heather has had the opportunity to work on a number of different research projects pertaining to prenatal care, substance use, and harm reduction. As a former public health nurse, her current research interests center around health service utilization by urban underserved populations, public perceptions of harm reduction and how individuals with lived and living experience, bereaved mothers in particular, shape drug policy reform in Canada.
